BUSINESS VS EMOTION IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY

I see a lot of artists with stagnant careers who keep regurgitating “work dey” left and right. They want to tell you how many hundred songs they have recorded or how many years they have persevered in the game like they should get some credit for sticking to the grind and they will eventually be rewarded for resilience; but I have bad news for them. Music is a business and if in  5 years, you have not started making a profit, you have to close up shop.
